Sustainable Construction

At Jindal Group of Industries, we believe that the future of construction lies in building sustainably — using smarter techniques, cleaner materials, and environmentally responsible methods that reduce our ecological footprint.
Our sustainable construction practices are built on the following key initiatives:

Eco-Friendly Building Materials

We prioritize the use of low-impact, sustainable, and locally sourced materials that minimize energy consumption and waste during production. Our goal is to reduce the environmental cost of construction without compromising on durability or aesthetics.

Smart Construction Techniques

We adopt advanced, resource-efficient methods such as modular construction, energy-efficient design, and waste minimization strategies. These techniques not only enhance productivity but also ensure reduced water and energy usage during the build process.

Retrofitting for a Greener Future

Preserving heritage while modernizing infrastructure is central to our philosophy. We retrofit existing structures — including heritage buildings and older industrial sites — to meet modern green building standards, improving energy efficiency, safety, and performance while maintaining historical integrity.

By-Product Utilization & Waste Management

In our industrial units, we ensure that by-products are reused, repurposed, or responsibly processed to support circular economy principles:

CO₂ Recovery & Utilization

CO₂ generated during fermentation processes is captured using CO₂ scrubbers. Rather than being released into the atmosphere, this captured carbon is either sold to authorized vendors or bottled at our proposed CO₂ bottling plant, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles)

As a nutrient-rich by-product of our grain-based processes, DDGS is responsibly converted into high- quality animal feed. It is marketed as cattle feed, fish feed, and prawn feed, supporting agricultural and aquaculture sectors while minimizing waste.

Utilization of Boiler Ash

Ash generated from boiler operations will be utilized for brick manufacturing in a proposed brick manufacturing plant within the plant premises. This reduces landfill waste, supports sustainable construction, and turns industrial residue into a valuable building material.
